MALTA — With a $4.6 billion computer chip manufacturing plant headlining the list of the town’s coming attractions, it’s no surprise that both candidates for town supervisor say development is one of the biggest issues in the Nov. 8 election.

Martin Carmody My wife Cheryl and I love living in Glen Cove. We are proud parents of two daughters and two sons, all of whom have attended or are attending Glen Cove High School. Our family belongs to Our Savior’s Lutheran church where we are active members. Cheryl is a Kindergarten teacher at Deasy School and I am a Senior Design Engineer employed in the manufacturing industry on Long Island.
